Sheri Lenee Albers, D.O., is a highly distinguished radiologist and interventional pain physician with over three decades of leadership in diagnostic imaging and regenerative medicine. Currently serving as the Director of Research for Radiology Research and Consultation, Dr. Albers has held prestigious academic and clinical appointments, including a Fellowship from Medical Center of Delaware, Associate Professor and Section Chief of Musculoskeletal (MSK) and Body MRI at the University of Kentucky. Her extensive clinical expertise is backed by fellowships in Interventional Pain Medicine from UC San Diego and Neuroradiology from UC Davis, positioning her as a leading authority on the intersection of advanced imaging and minimally invasive pain management. 

 

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Albers is a prominent national figure in the medical community, having served as the President of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) from 2022 to 2023. She is a prolific researcher and educator, contributing to numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters on spine radiology, biologics, and regenerative medicine. Her contributions have been recognized with the ASIPP Lifetime Achievement Award in 2025 and the Manchikanti Excellence Award in 2024. As a frequent course director and lecturer, Dr. Albers continues to shape the future of interventional pain management through her work in physician training and medical board service.
